Met my expectations
I was not disappointed at the Omni. The staff was very helpful & courteous. I was in and out frequently and the concierege never missed a beat....
The hotel was a great value. It is located in a business park area and I believe most of their business is during the week so they offer fantastic rates on the weekend. We were looking for a convenient place to stay with family that had a pool for the kids. The pool was adequate and not overly crowded but the people that were there were much more rowdy and obnoxious than you would typically find at a 4 star hotel. I suspect due to the very low weekend rate. We stayed in a double queen on the corner and the room and bed were comfortable. AC worked well, bathroom was spacious and clean. Overall the hotel was quiet and relaxing(with the exception of the pool) Valet parking was only 10/day which is a bargain compared to most hotels I've stayed at. It is conveniently located next to major highways and we found great restaurants and shopping in Grapevine only minutes away. Medieval Times dinner show was only about a 15-20 minute drive from the hotel as well and fun for the kids. If you are looking for a nice hotel at a nice price in the DFW area then I don't think you could go wrong with the Omni.
I would stay again but with a bigger room the room was small but it was nice and had a mini service area in the room once I got the key to it it was wonderfull... It was nice to have robes in the room, the Sauna and Hot tub and Pool was wonderfull with men and womans dressing rooms and lockers..The staff in the Bar was very nice and the Food there was Fab to the core!!I would stay here again I had a nice stay!
I stayed at this hotel for a weekend while visiting some friends for a wedding. The location of the hotel is close to the airport, and close enough to a few restaurants, but pretty far from the night scene of Dallas or Fort Worth. I was blown away, however, by the absolute friendliness and professionalism of the staff from the second I walked in the door, by the appearance of the huge lobby, by the fine dining and full bar downstairs, by the pool, by the cleanliness of my room, and by the peace and comfort I enjoyed while there. On checkout, I told the staff I'd show them some love on Travelocity for the excellent stay I had :-) I will stay at this hotel every time I fly into Dallas and need a place to stay in the future.
I was so surprised to actually be pleased instead of disappointed in an online reservation. What a fantastic hotel. More than exceeded our expectations. This is by far the best kept secret in the Dallas area. I will make this my home away from home from now on. highly recomended.
