Hotel was clean and service was good. Food was excellent! Fun place to take your family for a quick getaway. There were movies by the pool on Friday night, games for the kids, golf, excellent Sunday brunch, and the property sits on a lake. It is an easy drive to Austin and Fredricksburg, if you feel so inclined to leave the property to explore.

I paid * a night plus all the ridiculous fees/taxes. When the bell boy took us to our 2nd floor room, the curtains were drawn and when we opened them to see the view, we saw a hideous flat roof top that looked like the space shuttle had thrown up all over it. That's all you could see.
