It's a standard cheap halfway-between-a-motel-and-hotel establishment. The folks were friendly and the room was clean. The only complaint is that the pool...

I stayed here one night during a trip. The first room I was given was disgusting. It was old and dirty. I pulled back the sheets to see what was under them to find shelled sunflower seeds scattered around the filthy mattress pad (which was covered in someone's hair and heavily stained). The second room was newer, and had been cleaned, but the bed was very uncomfortable, two of the four pillowcases were dirty, and half of the lights in the room didn't work. I actually felt bad for the desk staff because I was not the only one that night who was asking for a different room...I would never stay there again, for any length of time.

This was the dirtiest room I have every stayed in. The middle of the floor had been vacuumed, but the corners and edges by the floor boards were covered with very thick dust and dirt that had to have been there for months. The phone, alarm clock, furniture surfaces, tray with coffee pot, coffee pot were covered with very thick dust. The towels were very old and grimy. The king bed had a flat sheet on the bottom (not a fitted sheet) as well as top. Consequently the bottom sheet kept coming off all night. The blanket had two very large burn holes in it and was covered with fabric pills and looked disgusting. The bed spread wasn't much better. The carpet had numerous burn marks on it. I called the front desk and asked to speak to the manager and requested that the manager come and see the room. She said she was the manager, but was on her own and was not able to come up. The price of the room was *. I got a military discount when I registered. They could not take the coupon I had. She said it was only for walk ins. When I called from the room she did agreed to give me a further 15% discount. The third floor hallway appeared to be vacuumed, but large accumulation of dust/dirt covered the surface close to the floor boards and corners. The woman manager was very pleasant and spoke in a professional manner. I did have a plethora of pillow and the sheets and the pillow cases were clean. I am assuming this is poor management, and lack of staff to run this branch appropriately and that it is not indicative of all Days Inns.

I took my 3 children away for the night just to get away and we had a great time staying at the Days Inn....We enjoyed the pool and it was a pleasure to have a balcony in our room so we could sit outside and relax also....I also liked the fact that they have wireless internet....The kids enjoyed the continental breakfast as they were able to make their own waffles which most hotels all you get is cereal and juice or toast for a continental breakfast...The staff was very friendly and always right on top of things

had to stay in hotel and leave for airport in morning. Hotel was noisy all night with kids running up and down halls at night. Staff gave our room key to another visitor and then called us and asked who we were and what were doing in the room.would not go back

 by  anonymous  on  2007-06-02

The staff was very friendly, and willing to help me with my millions of questions. The building is a little outdated, but clean. I enjoyed my stay.

We unfortunately ended up with a smoking room which smelled it. We requested a non-smoking room and were informed there was only a queen room which would cost us 100.00 more per night. We opened the window and turned up the heat. They gave us some spray to use, which made it tolerable. The room was not as clean as it could be. There was dust in the corners and in the bathroom. and the carpet could have used a good shampoo. The pool was small. The continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. Would not go back to this motel.
