Great service! Good location and easy to get to on a shuttle from the airport. The rooms are comfortable. I love the new bedding! Beautiful marble entry and in the bathroom. HUGE shower and spa tub. The bathroom is a little dark for putting on makeup. I We ate in the restaurant (Ruth Chris Steakhouse) although it's it was delish! The workout area and spa/steam room/sauna are top rate and very clean! Room was very quiet and you have your own in room control for temps. Automatic room darkening curtains are a plus! We will for sure be back!
I've stayed in a few Grand Hyatt's- this one is a good one, but not a great one (the San Francisco Union Square is better). The location is good as it's right in the middle of downtown seattle, but for me the hotel service was 80%. when we arrived, there was no bell staff available to assist us, and the turndown service lacked on the weekend. All in all, it's a nice place to stay, but not quote up to par for one of the major port cities in the US.
My husband and I went to Seattle for a week to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary. We couldn't have been happier with our stay at the Grand Hyatt Seattle. The staff was friendly, cheerful, helpful, attentive and acted like they really wanted to please us & help us enjoy our stay with them. On our anniversary the Head Concierge surprised us with a nice tray of cheeses, crackers & wine waiting for us that evening in our room. They made us feel special! We'd definitely stay there in the future & recommend it to others!
I stayed here with my boyfriend overnight when we were in town for a concert. The room was nice, we asked for a corner suite, with a king bed. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and everything was very clean. The bathroom was one to die for, the tub in particular. We weren't there long enough really to need any services, but the staff were very friendly. Only complaint that i have is the T.V. in the room was just a regular 29" or 32" t.v. - no nice flat screen, which was what i kind of expected for the more expensive room. But we didn't really have time to watch anthing this time anyway - but i would want one for any longer stay. Definately enjoyable.
excellent hotel with gorgeous view, immaculate rooms, and even comfortable robes
