Great location!
I stayed while attending a wedding, and the hotel was centrally located and comfortable. A good mid-range hotel: clean, quiet and low-key.

This is a smaller hotel only a block away from the Seattle Convention and Trade Center. The rooms were apparently recently redecorated in a modern asian type style and were stylish and very clean. The lobby was undergoing renovation, so it was rather crowded at times with the workmen and their equipment. One of the staffers at the front desk seemed rather spacey. She botched up on communication with my lost luggage from the airline. The hotel restaurant serves asian/fusion food. The sushi was very good.
This was the first family trip to SEA with our five year old son. The hotel was conveniently located: approximately .5 mil, or less, downhill to locations such as Pike's Public Market, SEA Acquarium, and Washington State Ferries at pier 52. Shopping and restaurants, including Nordstroms that has a nice little cafe, were closer. The weekend concierge continued to recommend taking a taxi but we preferred to walk, even to the famous 13 Coins restaurant. We did feel safe all day.Our room had two queen beds, adequate room that included an armoire that held the tv, five mini drawers for clothes, mini refrigerator (that was in no hurry to cool beverages), and honor bar. In the room was also a computer desk with chair, wireless: ten bucks, guest chair and standing lamp, bathroom, vanity with blow dryer and coffee/tea, and a closet... with two complimentary bathrobes (also available for purchase at the front desk). We received daily USA Today newspapers and local on the weekend. We were on the 8th floor and there was construction across the street that stopped about 10PM and started around 7AM. This could be heard but was not blaring. We're not sure how much louder it was on lower floors. As someone else mentioned, you can hear the plumbing from the room next door while in the bathroom. The restaurant, Dragonfish dot com (hint), served breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had full breakfasts daily, average ten dollars each, which was pretty good. They have weekday lunch specials, six dollars, and a special Happy Hour on Monday. We didn't go these or dinner, sorry. We recommend ths hotel especially if you're looking for a good rate and not expecting it to be five star, although the staff was pretty accommodating.
I've been to Seattle several times and stayed at another hotel, but because the Paramount is a non-smoking facility, close to the Paramount Theatre and offered one night of complimentary valet parking, it was a no-brainer staying there. From the start the service was friendly and professional, the lobby inviting and clean, the room had the necessary amenities to make the room more than ordinarily comfortable. I would/will definitely stay at the Paramount next time I'm in Seattle.
We stayed two nights on our first trip to Seattle. The location is a convenient walk to many downtown attractions. Some construction noise, and some room noise (plumbing from other rooms), but otherwise clean nad comfortable. Valet was slow on one busy night, otherwise fine.
The best thing is the location but the construction next store (half a city block) is loud, the rooms are small, and they charge 10 for internet connections. The restaurant is great and the staff is friendly."
Being right in the middle of downtown, hotel is within close proximity to many tourist sights. Rooms were clean but nothing extraordinary. Staff was all very friendly and helpful, especially the consierge. Did not have chance to eat in the hotel restaurant, but it was crowded virtually every night. Would definately consider staying there again in the future.
