I have traveled most of my life. If I could I would live in a hotel, I love hotels. The Sixth Ave. Inn is a hidden oasis. If you trip twice , y...
The place is much in need of refurbishing, and that may not be enough. The first room they gave us smelled like stale urine. The second was almost as good as one of the cheap chains. We would have left, but arrived too late in the day. Bed was uncomfortable, air conditioner noisy and not too effective. Fitness room was a total joke. A couple of tired-looking machines. I have a hard time believing that this is a starwood hotel.
This hotel is terribly outdated and uncomfortable. I was only there for one night and I wouldn't stay there again. It was somewhat dingy though it didn't seem unclean.
15 min walk to safeco, 2 min to the needle and 5 min from pike place market and all shopping. Good for just sleep and leave, rooms are dirty, not kept up and old looking. More like a college dorm.
My only complaint is acoustics. Old design next to street traffic. Bourbon and benadryl will drown out anything. The price was great and 2 blocks from monorail and bus tunnel. 1 block from Top Pot for coffeee and donuts in am and 1 block from Hotel Max happy hour!!
We only stayed one night in July 2007. The room was spotless and the service was great. Great value for the money! I am looking forward to stay there again. LL
Perfect location, not enough parking, rooms were very musty smelling not aired out, maid service is great, front desk should give out parking permit on checkin instead of warnings on guest vehicles, free coffe but you have to pay for bottled water, restaurant should take room service orders after 9 p.m.
