Thoughts from Shell
Not worth the cost at half the price. The room isn't any different than a dive in the middle of nowhere. It is located next to a medical center...
Room was very clean. The microwave and fridge were appreciated. Their continental breakfast needs improvement!
Made our reservation on the Hotel website. Upon arrival, the desk had no record. ONLY seating in our ?Deluxe? room was one plastic desk chair. Bathroom was miniscule. Requested move to a suite, it took all day and four desk clerks to accomplish. Monday, my key card malfunctioned. Desk Clerk hesitated to renew it because her computer did not reflect the change of rooms. Housekeeping did not clean our room that day. Tuesday and Wednesday we had no hot water when we awoke. Upon checkout, received a bill for four days in a room PLUS four days in a suite.
The in room and lobby decor was really cool. I was upset that the internet connection didn't work in the room. Also, the complimentary breakfast was only offered until 9:30 am which was too early for my schedule while I was staying.
After booking my trip at the Ramada Inn, that hotel became Hotel Nexus.I looked at the website but apparently the room shown is the only one like that in the hotel.I was given a room on a lower level that faced a brick wall. It felt like I was in a dungeon.Later that day at my request, I was changed to another room facing the back parking lot. That view was still better than the first. This room smelled of stale cigarette smoke.A money-saving feature was the free continental breakfast at an adjacent restaurant. There was no hotel shuttle to take guests to and from the airport.
