no thanks
unclean, poor service. Not sure the beds were changed.
We've stayed here many times, not again. Reservation wrong, we called to reserve park and fly space and it wasn't reserved, staff wasn't helpful although they made the mistake, at checkout they had the wrong method of payment and it had to be corrected. Very disappointing and return reservation has been cancelled.
My review is based on comparison with other SeaTac Airport hotels. This place is just as close as any, and like others, they have a shuttle. They don't have a restaurant of their own, but their Cont. Breakfast is quite acceptable, and there are plenty of restaurants within 5 minutes walk. If you are attending a conference at the ""2-tree"" hotel across the street, LaQuinta has no ridiculous parking fees. Place was spotless, too. Not glitzy like some others, but you're just passing through, anyway!
Overall it was great for the price. Very clean and the staff was very friendly. Convienient for the Seattle airport.
This is not a good example of a LaQuinta. Old renovated hotel. Small elevator - good luck if you have alot of luggage! Rude staff - the clerk started to help me but when two other guests walked up he turned away from me and checked them in first. No idea why. Lobby was dirty, I wouldn't eat their breakfast even if it was just cereal. Room was musty, curtains falling off the rods, carpet damp and sticky. Shuttle driver wasn't the most curtious person in the world. Newer, cleaner, less expensive hotels in the area. Won't stay here again.
If you have a reservation at this hotel, even if you have a written confirmation, it would be wise to confirm again by telephone a day or two before arriving to make sure that they have a room reserved for you and probably again by telephone the day that you will be arriving. We arrived at 9 P.M. to find that they had no record of our confirmed reservation and no unreserved rooms. The desk clerk could have cared less. She admitted that they had 20 or more reserved rooms that had yet to be claimed but would not release one to us even though it was unlikely as late as it was that all of those guests would still arrive (they, of course, got paid for the rooms even if they remained empty and if they remained empty would not have the cost of cleaning them, changing sheets, etc.) She was not willing to contact any nearby hotels to see if they still had rooms, as some motel staffs will do even if you come in without a reservation and find them full. When asked for a list of area hotels, she referred us to the Yellow Pages. If we had not been traveling with friends who generously shared their room with us for the night, we would have had to sit up all night at the airport waiting for our flight the next day. Personally we will never use La Quinta again but if you want to use it or have no choice, I would again advise that you not depend solely on your written confirmation number but double check by contacting them by telephone as your stay draws near.
We were 5 people (and they knew it)....they gave us one king bed....brought us one roll-a-way at 11:00pm after asking twice....!!! not a good night sleep. (believe they gave our room to someone else....)...They told us they were doing us a favor by not giving us a ""smoking room"". We would have gone somewhere else, but it was a busy July 4th week...and we had three little kids already sleeping in the van.
