Alderbrook resort is in a beautiful setting with beautifully appointed rooms. What a waste! The service is appalling, from the front desk to the restaurant. The staff act as if we're uninvited guests intruding on their peace and quiet. The only exception would be the spa, where the treatments are good and the staff welcoming. We plan to go back, because it has the makings of a first class destination, but we hope the attitude of the hotel staff improves.

My husband planned a romantic get away at the Alderbrook resort and spa. We were both very impressed with the service, the beauty, the bath products, the terry cloth robes they provide. The food was outstanding. Everything was wonderful and relaxing, we had total privacy. the views were spectacular! this resort is also pet friendly, complete with dog treats. they have a french coffee press, and the Egyptian 300 thread count sheets. we highly recommend this resort to all our . this resort is also motorcycle rider friendly. They even have boat rentals.

Nice building but no service. Two bartenders, three wait staff, two hostesses and an empty bar but no service. They did sweep the floor under our feet. We left to finish our 140 mile round trip home. The very next day at a business meeting when mentioning Hood Canal someone said they have a place by Alderbrook and it has a reputation for bad service and serve yourself ok food. Locals and out of towners visit the tavern for good service and food. What a shame. We won't be back and it sounds like we have a lot of company. We will not recommend it.
