The carpet was old and didn't lay flat. The bed wasn't firm enough. I wouldn't call this a 3 star hotel. The laundry room caught on fire during our stay and we had to sit in the parking lot until fire could be put out. Not a good experience all around. We did enjoy Jackson and the hotel was within walking distance of everything we did during our stay.

The room was very spacious with a frig and micro could of slept 6 easily. Great location within walking distance to many great restaurants and shops. The price was high but we were there at peak season. Wanted to rent a movie but did not have the option. Overall it is a decent place to stay.

The stay started out great until the morning when we wen to shower and found ZERO hot water. When we spoke to the front desk they said they had been having problems the past few days not having hot water in the morning for the back half the hotel. Of course you dont see the Quality Inn name anywhere on the hotel or in the rooms..

We LOVED our stay at Quality Inn 49er! The beds were beyond comfortable. The staff was very polite and helpful. The continental breakfast was varied and plentiful. The custodial service was very, very nice. The only thing I could fuss about would be the ironing board which was too small. Of course they do offer laundry services. I would highly recommend this hotel.

hotel was very easy to find and staff was very helpfull. room was very clean and neat. Nice romantic area. and excellent views of the mts.

We stayed in a double queen with wood-burning fireplace (they supplied free wood). There was a free shuttle to Jackson Hole but we spent more time at Grand Targhee. No elevator - which made a big difference as I blew my knee skiing. The heat was inconsistent. We kept waking up in the middle of the night either sweating and turning the heat off or shivering and turning the heat back on. Would strongly recommend putting a glass of water in front of it as it would evaporate through the night effectively humidifying the room. We could not use the hot tub as it was packed with drunk, rowdy people. The parking lot is small and not well plowed - neither are the sidewalks. The breakfast was in a separate building - again, icy sidewalks all the way there - but good and plentiful. Standard fare - bagels, waffles, yogurt, cereal, fruit, oatmeal, coffee, juice, etc. As we packed to leave we found various disgusting items under the bed (foil wrappers, etc.) and loose prescription medication under the sink - clearly not a well cleaned room. It was located in a the center of town which made it easy to walk everywhere. No need to rent a car if you're just going to ski Jackson Hole or visit the Elk Refuge (HIGHLY recommended!!!) as there is good public transportation within the city.
