relaxing getaway
This is a great place to go without the kids. Great weather. Had a few mosquitos in the room but maitence took care of them right away. This is a great place to getaway and just relax. Make sure to go all inclusive because it is extremely expensive to eat. Overall great vacation.
relaxing getaway
We spent 4 days at this hotel in May 2008.At a cost of almost 300 per night I expected a great hotel. This did not happen. The place is modest, to say the least. Our room was clean but in need of repairs. We reported a leaky air conditioner and it took 2 days and many complaints on our part before it was repaired. The room was infested with mosquitoes. We had to spray ourselves with OFF to go to bed...and still got bitten many times. The hotel claims that they sprayed for bugs, but the problem continued the whole 4 days that we were there. A maintenance man came and said that the seal around the windows was not tight and was letting in all the mosquitoes. Duh! might be time to fix it. The entertainment was really quite good....walk 25 yards from your hotel and you have live music, stilt dancers, a guy who danced on broken glass, etc. That part was very good. But I would never recommend this hotel....grossly overpriced for what you get.
All Inclusive at Bolongo
Hotel Staff is Not that Friendly. ****Boat Ride for Snorkeling is Great the crew is Great***** and everyone at rental shop and dive shop are extremely helpfull. Waiter's, Locals, Taxi Drivers are terrible. If i could Id rather walk to where i have to go. Hotel is very nice otherwise, great location. The Sheets on bed were not that clean at all. The Beach and the Water are very clean and nice. Iggies had good food but terrible service. Reccomend MIMS Reastaurant just past Iggies, very friendly.
relaxing getaway
I always book reservations with some trepidation as we have had some rather bad experiences with hotels and service in the past. We were all pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff as soon as we arrived. Our check in was handled very quickly, and I had booked three rooms, but, within 45 minutes, we were sitting down to lunch at Iggies. The staff was wonderful. They helped us to arrange an excursion off the premises on my son's birthday and it was great. We did go with the all inclusive package and the food was great and the drinks potent. It is a small resort, but, there were lots of activities. The rooms are neat and clean, and the beds comfortable, but not fancy. The bathrooms were clean, but older. However, the view of the beach from our rooms was beautiful and we walked down the steps and we were on the beach. As we spend very little time in our rooms, we were looking for casual, friendly, good food and fun times, and we found them all with this resort. We would go back again.
All Inclusive at Bolongo
We had a nice stay in the hotel. We had just finished a charter in Tortola and needed one night before flying back. Chef Robert was able to create a delightful dinner that was gluten-free and casein-free. There are lots of beach toys and the water was very nice. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back, again.
Nast Beach
Our stay was from 05/05-12/2008. We went all inclusive and would not have done it any other way. The staff at Bolongo Bay was so welcoming, it felt like home. The bartenders, A, L, and H at Lobster Grille are awesome. Loved the Heavenly Days. Chef Rob has a very unique talent and the food is out of this world. Our cups were never empty, unless we asked for them to be. The view from the bar is terrific. Iggie's was hopping. Great karioke. Awesome view from here too. The catamaran, Heavenly Days, and crew was also awesome. Everyone here is just so friendly and helpful. Cudos to Gloria who booked all the reservations. We are sure to be back.
