Very Disappointed
Although the front desk staff was friendly, the rest of the hotel workers were not. Our room had a nice ocean view from the balcony, but the rest of the room was lousy. Our bed sheets were not changed even once during the 10 days we were there. Even after they were clearly dirty and stained from aloe and lotion. We asked several times and left nice notes for housekeeping, but nothing. They only provided two towels per day and even one per room on three occassions. We would have to plead and beg for an extra towel and wait a long time for housekeeping to deliver it. The mattress was the worst piece of crap I have ever slept on in my life. They must have found it on the side of the road. The bathroom had no vent. Instead the door had open slots and was not a solid door. Big lack of privacy and containment of ..... Only one bar by the pool, indoors instead of beach side or swim up. The four restaurants listed are really all the same located under the same roof and serving buffet style only. We did not do the all inclusive, thank goodness, but the few breakfasts and lunches were not worth 18 per person for buffet style of cold dried out food. The beach was man made of some sand spilled on top of hugh rocks. Pool was ok with plenty of chairs and shade when needed. The walk to and from the pool was not a big deal. A shuttle is also available every few minutes. Towels by the pool/beach were very scarce and a rude lady who would stop by sometimes to distribute them. Distance to Red Hook is quick 5 minutes, but too far from downtown.
Very Disappointed
Staff is very rude, All inclusive but you have to wait 30 min or more for a drink. Resort is far from everything else on the island, would not go back, liked Jamaica or Mexico much better
Oh No!
Stayed at this resort and did the all inclusive package. The package should of included self service all inclusive. Long wait on drinks, had to to walk from the beach to the bar if you wanted a drink. this included water. Food was very very expensive and not that good. Breakfast was the best but it was 60 for two. Costs 40 to take a taxi from the resort to town then back to resort for two people. Beach was exremely rocky. Casino does not pay out like river boats or vegas.
Very Disappointed
Everything we hoped our vacation to be, was. The view from our Ocean View room was spectacular. The pools were beautiful and fun to play in. The stairs going down to the pool area were quite long, but the walk was beautiful. We took advantage of the airport pool shuttle to get back up to our room. The food was absolutely fantastic. While the beach wasn't the biggest or best on the Virgin Islands, it was beautiful and swim-able. Lots of water type activities to do. We had an all-inclusive vacation which was wonderful. The staff of this resort, from waiters an waitresses to service desk to housekeeping were all awesome. Nice helpful people is what we had here. It was very difficult to leave there and come home (especially to the 20+ inches of snow when we were gone....) Can't wait to go back! We will bring the OFF though, as there were sand fleas and we got eaten alive without protection while the folks that used OFF were fine... potential.commercial for Johnson Wax? We did sign up for a Submarine tour and paid through Travel agency, but then was charged again by the Submarine tour agency....trying to recoup this right now....

The wedding staff was amazing. Naomi did a superior job with us. I would recommend this place to anyone wishing to get married on an island. The hotel service, however, was not always that great, and seemed to be hit or miss. Tahja and Kima did exceptional work helping us out at the front desk. The pool was nice but too cold to swim in, and the food was a different variation of the same thing everyday. Over all stay was very nice, but a few things need to be improved upon. We would consider staying here again.
Stayed here three years in a row, would return again
What can I say?? This was my first visit to St. Thomas and upon my arrival I was greeted with "rudeness", slow service and confused people. I thought I was in the twilight zone for a few days. First of all my sister's luggage never made it and the baggage claim supervisor was slow to find out where it could have gone. It took two days to finally reach our hotel. Everything on the island requires a car from the location of this hotel. If you don't have a car be prepared to take a taxi everywhere. Taxis are per person and can range from 5 to 15 one way. I was definitely not use to taxis coming from CA. The hotel has no room service and the restuarants have limited hours. The only place open for lunch is by the pool which is 98 steps down from the hotel or a short shuttle ride. I was traveling with my grandma and she had to do lots of walking. I would not recommend it for people that have a hard time getting around on their own. Our room faced the ocean and there is no elevator on this side. We walked two flights of stairs to get to our room. It took a couple of days to get used to the culture on the island. Once we did, things were better. But then, we had a 6:43am flight home and we found out that there are no taxis running at this time. The hotel considers this a special trip and charges 90 per person to the airport(it was only 15 per person during regular hours). There was a nice man that offered to take us for a more discount rate. Make sure you bring money for transportation.
