    Best bed in Europe

Travelocity   by  anonymous  on  Mar 8, 2008

This hotel was a VERY welcome addition to our visit to Europe. We could not get over the two twin beds in one frame with two small, individual blankets that constituted a king bed at all of the other European hotels. We were pleasantly surprised to find a "real" king bed with five pillows at this hotel. We also had a slightly larger shower and plenty of towels. The room was also very warm since it was winter. The staff was fabulous. The front desk even traded us a personal bottle of non-mineral water for our bottle of mineral water when we tried to give it to them. Breakfast is the traditional breakfast of cold cuts and cheese with bread, cereal, coffee and tea. They do not have a cooked breakfast. We would stay here many more times. The city is slightly outside Innsbrook, but easy to find.

This is a modern hotel with magnificent carved wood moldings and Austrian decor throughout all the public areas. The rooms are nice sized and up-to-date. Zirl is a small town and is just off the Autobahn exit for easy access to Innsbrook and the Brenner Pass. The restaurant is top-shelf and reasonable. The breakfast lacked nothing.Seefeld is a short drive away.
