Outback desert living was quite an experience. First of all, there are bugs everywhere-e ven in the lobby. It can't be prevented. In your room, they provide you with a can of bug spray. To me, this was more of a 2 star hotel. The rooms did provide everything you need. You have to check your bed at night for bugs. Uluru itself was very hot. Tip:buy the fly nets, they are everywhere in Uluru. They constantly go for your face.
