Cre-e-e-a-k!!
We were disappointed in the hotel, given its 3 star rating. If you have large/heavy bags, be aware you'll have to carry them yourself up narrow stairways and halls. The first room we were shown to was very small, with virtually no storage. The phone did not work. When I checked with staff about fixing it, I was told that they have problems in about half the rooms and little can be done unless they install a new system. Fortunately, this got us relocated to another room with a working phone, which also happened to be larger. In both rooms the furnishings were worn, the upholstery on the sofa in the second was noticeably torn. In both rooms and all passages above the ground floor, the floors creaked - everywhere and all the time! If you want atmosphere, this is for you; if you want to be able to take a step in your room without the rest of the hotel knowing - try somewhere else. If you are not carrying a computer, you'll need to go to the local library to get Internet access.
Not very good
