Turkey Day in Cabo
Lovely hotel, great room. Two complaints, smokers and non-smokers are next door to eachother. It is a problem when someone lights up and your room fills with smoke. Room service is slow and there are not enough menus for each room. Pool is spectacular! Rooms were clean and well appointed. Buy breakfast and lunch fixings at City Club around the block.
Family Vacation in Cabo
We just got back from Cabo and had a real vacation! The hotel was great. At check in, we were bumped up to a luxury suite which was very nice for a week's stay. The grounds were being cleaned every day from scrubbing down the steps to wiping the railing and domes. The pool was very nice and Cilantro's was great! I will stay here again if I go back. Watch out for the ""welcoming speech"", it's a timeshare sales pitch."
Fun!
Pueblo Bonito Blanco is a very nice hotel. This hotel is good for any kind of person. It has a great location only a few minutes away from town. The service is wonderful, I go there every year and they remember me and treat me like a friend. This is a great hotel and I reccomend it for everyone.
Turkey Day in Cabo
Rooms: spacious, clean!, colorful, beds comfy, view sublime. Staff: friendly, went out of their way. Swimmable ocean, warm pool, excellent food, margaritas worth the beachfront ambiance. Sea turtles hatched, trained hotel staff eased entry into sea. Massages at Rose superb. Timeshare presentation: optional; save 200 on food++. Easy & relaxed.
Pueblo Bonito Blanco is Bueno!
The hotel exceeded our expectations - extremely pristine, courteous staff, restaurant cuisine quite good. Only downside was lack of nighttime entertainment-it would have been nice to have live music (or any kind). Easy walk into town.
Family Vacation in Cabo
First time visit to Cabo and this was a great location. Hotel was very clean, had a friendly & helpful staff. Great for young families and retirees.
Pueblo Bonito Blanco is Bueno!
Everything about Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos was great. Daily maid service, poolside activities for all ages (kids' painting, volleyball, even cooking class), excellent food and pool wait staff. Lovely grounds & short walk to beach bars, good restaurants & town.
This hotel is beautiful! The staff is excellent, most helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious and luxurious. The location is quite close to town - easy walking distance. It was great fun to swim in the ocean and the pool is gorgeous!
The hotel overall is beautiful and very clean! The staff was very nice and the service at both restaurants was excellent. Great view from our room!! I loved the flamingos, fish, turtles and birds that surrounded the pool area. Very tropical! We spent most of our time in Cabo at the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.
This hotel is wonderful, the service was awesome, and the staff was just as wonderul, the hotel is beautiful and very very clean. We had a great time, our room was so pretty and very clean. The only bad thing was the pool was too warm for july. The beds are very comfortable, great hotel....
Suites and service are great. Pool and Amenities are World Class.
Family Vacation in Cabo
This Hotel was good. We stayed five days. We had the Luxury suite in which we slept five peole comfortabley, 3 adults and 2 kids. Our room was on the top floor with a fantastic view of Lover's Beach and the arch. The pool was nice, but we used the pool at the sister resort Rose because there were more activicites for our kids. The pool food at Rose is good too. There is also a small deli that has food and snacks or you can walk a block to the Mega supermarket for water, juice, snacks etc. Mendano Beach is great very calm and swimable. There are several great restaurants. For nice dinners try Ediths, Alexanders, and Mi Casa. For lunch and breakfast try Baja Cantina, The Office, and Senor Sweets. Senior Sweets and Baja Cantina have good prices and big protions. Make sure if you like the night life to go to the Zoo, Giggling Marlin, Cabo Wabo, and Squid Row. The nice thing about staying at Bonito Blanco is that it is close to everything. If you walk fast the walk into the heart of the town is 10 min max or along the beach about 20min. If you are feeling lazy you can take a cab from anywhere in the town back to the hotel for . That's not to bad if you are tired. Overall, this was a good place to stay especially with kids. Also this is the first time that I have not been hounded to bad to buy a timeshare.
Family Vacation in Cabo
Family vacation for spring break......loud group of young men in room next door. We heard them leave at 11pm and return drunk at 4am everyday, complained to desk...seemed not really to care. Do make sure you use safe that they provide in room. Food was ok in restaurant, a little pricey. Hotel otherwise great beach spot and pool ok, beach staff were very friendly and helpful.
Fun!
Stayed here with family which includes 4 children and we had a great time!!! It is the oldest and smallest of the Pueblo Bonito Family but I appreciate that the pool was never over crowded and neither was their beach area. Food in Cabo is generally very expensive!! Pueblo Bonito's prices were very good and their children's menu cannot be beat!!! * for a good sized cheeseburger and fries, that's the same as McDonalds! I ordered plenty of pool side meals and they were both very tasty and affordable. It seems that the hotel is constantly being cleaned and it smells that way also which is something I can appreciate. Mexican Fiesta theme night was so much fun and their food was great!! Yes a lot of people complain about the whole timeshare pushing but it's really well worth it you get room credit and you get to see the sister resorts, I did end up purchasing a timeshare because I felt it was well worth it and plan on returning. My family & I felt very safe and appreciated at this hotel, and if it weren't for purchasing a timeshare I would definetly come back!!!
I found the food expensive, well presented, but lacking taste. E.g., fish was frozen and shrip was overcooked. In all fairness to the staff, when I complained about a dish, they took it off the bill without fuss.
Enjoyed my stay here in a ""luxury suite"", which had the bedroom separated from the living space. Nice to have the kitchen. Pool is great and beach area is nice; there are too many vendors there, though, and it's a public beach so there's no way around it. Close enough to walk to town.
Family Vacation in Cabo
THIS HOTEL IS 20 YEARS OLD WHICH WAS REMODELED 3 YEARS AGO. THIS IS ADVERTISED AS A LUXURY RESORT ON THE WEB. THERE IS NOTHING LUXURY ABOUT THIS HOTEL EXCEPT THE VIEW. THIS IS A RESORT WITH RUDE STAFF MEMBERS. EVERYTHING IS FOR THIS HOTEL WITH MOLDS AND CRACKED TILES IN THE BATH. THEY CHARGE LIKE A 5 STAR HOTEL BUT THE FACILITY IS NOT TO THE STANDARDS. THIS IS A TIME SHARE GET AWAY THAT YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY .
Fun!
Booked (and paid for) rooms (three total) two weeks prior to arrival.Confirmed rooms morning of arrival. Arrived, and was told we did not have ANY rooms. After MUCH argument we were moved to sister hotel (Bonito Rose). Rooms there were nice, and overall experience at that hotel was good.
This resort was beautiful and clean. There was an awful smell that resembled a ""toliet bowl"" cleaning product. On days it was so intense that your eyes would burn. You did not have to rent the beach chairs but make sure you bring water and coffee because they charge you. The staff by the pool was super nice and spoke english well, but the staff at the resort desk and conceirge were not friendly at all. The air conditioning in our room barely kept up which did not keep us comfortable at all.
Vacation 2006
The Blanco has a great location - 10 minute walk to town, service by the pool was outstanding. However, it is a old hotel and it quite outdated. They also have a problem with security as we were nearly robbed from an outside party while dining at the resort's restaurant.
Turkey Day in Cabo
I'm not really sure where to start!!! The hair & nail salon at Rose runied my hair/nails & made me an hour late for my own wedding and still tried to bill it to our account. The mariachi were paid for 2 hours but only played for 1 due to my tardiness caused by the hotel, but was still charged for both hours with no responsibility taken by the hotel. The bartender tried to bill bottled water to my guests rooms at my reception although we had paid for 3 hours of full bar service. The front desk people made me cry immediately after the reception by insulting me (still in my gown), and my husband told them it was extremely rude, unprofessional, and unacceptable to which they threatened to call the police on us!! They refused to allow 3 of our guests to visit us in our room after the reception for fear they would try to sleep in our room (on our wedding night!!!). The next morning the lady at the front desk called & accused me of stealing their "broken" pair of scissors my maid of honor returned herself because they didn't work. I offered to buy them new scissors even though they admitted the scissors were already broken & was told that's not the point. Altogether our families had booked atleast 10 rooms at that hotel alone, had 5 different 20+ person dinners, daily food/bar tabs at the pool, and a wedding/reception which altogether cost several thousand dollars. We were treated very badly and had horrible service in many areas. After writing a letter to the manager of the hotel... our consolation prize... a fruit/cheese plate that sat in our hotel room for a couple hours until we returned to notice it!!!!! Worst stay ever!!!!!
Mosquitos were breeding in the open drain in our bathroom. Dead cockroaches in the bedroom, air didnt not work in the bedroom unless door was open, I also hated the Timeshare push. I wish I was warned before booking. And they did not give me what they promised! Bad deal all around. My friend slipped on their stairs and sprained her ankle. There went our fishing trip and our shopping. No help from the hotel at all. Overall we were not happy campers

Blanco was not the most expensive or "elite" of the Pueblo Bonito resorts, but we chose it based on traveler reviews and were NOT disappointed! After having experienced all three Pueblo Bonito resorts while in Cabo, we believe we made the best choice. Sunset Beach was beautiful, but you can't get in the ocean there.Efficient check-in. Spotless lobby/rooms/facilities. Great pool with awesome poolside food and beverage service (Margarito is awesome server!). Room was well appointed and comfy and it was fun to have towels and toilet paper folded into flowers and animals! Loved the flamingos in the courtyard! Food at restaurants was good. Concierge made everything easy. All personnel were friendly and eager to assist. In fact, a couple of the guys who worked near the pool partied with us one night at Cabo Wabo - we loved it! Fiesta Night was great fun. No complaints whatsoever. Not too difficult to get chairs near pool. Beach was clean and nice, although water was unexpectedly very cold and vendors are very annoying. The hotel can't control this because it's a public beach, and while we appreciate that these people are just trying to make a living, it was relentless. We tried to lay out on the beach, but after 20 minutes we'd been approached by at least a dozen vendors so we gave up and went back to the pool. This was the only downside to the whole vacation.Would recommend this hotel to everyone. We had a great time!
