AMAZING VACATION
This hotel was 10/10. Everything from the room, the food, the ambience was perfect. I have to make a special mention about the service...which was outstanding. I would love to come back and stay here again.
NOT KID FRIENDLY!
What an incredible experience!!!The staff is always warm, friendly and extra helpful. Food was incredible... not only by all-inclusive standards but it's really gourmet food. 4 incredible restaurants (French, Italian, Mexican and International) to choose from... one better than the other.The hotel is very pretty... spotless clean, modern yet decorated with character and impeccable taste. Suites are very spacious and extremely comfortable. Beds are comfy. All inclusive here really means ALL INCLUSIVE!!! From the mini bar with all kinds of goodies (refilled every day) to all the drinks and food you can possibly want.The SPA deserves a special mention. My package included two holistic massages at this gorgeous SPA. The robes are unbelievable and the treatments range from exquisite to exotic.Swimming pool is HUGE with three different temperatures to suit your taste. Delicious beach side jacuzzis let you enjoy the spectacular sunsets submerged in warm bubbly water while enjoying your favorite drink.Sounds to good to be true? Believe me... it exceeded my already high expectations.One final suggestion... if you can afford it... don't miss it!!!! It's worth every cent... and then some!!!
We had the perfect time. The service was unrivalled. We had the best 4 nights in the Puerto Vallarta area. Beautiful hotel, service with a smile and great food and drink!
This hotel far exceeded my expectations. The service was fabulous and the room and view was AMAZING. We had a Parlour Suite with an ocean view on the 7th floor and couldnt have asked for a better room on our first visit. This was the best all-inclusive resort to be at in Puerto Vallarta (Nuevo Vallarta)...I'll be going back there again very soon!!! The restaurants & food was good, pool was relaxing and the aqua bar was great, but I will really miss the outstanding customer service at The Grand Velas Hotel!
This was the vacation I have ever been on. The staff was courteous and friendly. The hotel was gorgeous and well kept. The rooms were spacious and clean. I can't wait to go back!
In response to the first critique...thank *** it is not kid friendly! That's why we went there. There are tons of kid friendly resorts go there.
NOT KID FRIENDLY!!! NOT ADULT Friendly either. The kids club is a table and chair underneath a tent. My 4 year old would not stay, because nothing enticed him to stay. We had to switch rooms 3 times, because the bar music was blaring, and they would not turn it down (our bed was shaking), even though there were only 2 people in the bar. So don't come with toddlers and stay far away from the bar.....we could hear it on the 4th floor, and sometimes on the 8th floor. The food was ok. Only go on honeymoon and stay away from the bar.

From the time you enter the hotel lobby until the time you check out the Grand Velas staff do everything in thier power to make you feel like a VIP. Service was the best I've recieved in past 40 years. Anything you want (within reason ) the staff will work hard to get you from poolside drinks to room service food to outside tours they are there to serve you. The rooms are large, very clean and the beds are soft and comfortable. The balconies have plenty of room to support 4 people if needed but private enough to just hang out and read a book. The three restaurants on the property are all fine dining and all have good points. Don't be afraid to spend the extra money on this hotel they do an outstanding job.
