What a Great Deal!

Yahoo Travel   by  A Yahoo! Contributor  on  Nov 29, 2005

I've been here twice in two years. Great both times. Latest visit: extremely clean, neat, well appointed rooms and lobby spaces. Absolutely ...

Great experience. The convienence of the area and the fact that they will drive us to the airport and keep our car is fabulous

I almost didn't stay here because of the terrible reviews but it was close to Invesco Field I thought it will be ok. Ended up they had a free shuttle to the Broncos game and I had a great time. The front desk was very friendly the bartender was excellent. I highly recommend staying here.

Clean sheets. Clean towels. Clean bathroom. Friendly and helpfull staff. Walking distance to Invesco Field. Older motel. Good place to stay for a Broncos game!

That is was my 1st thought. It was like 50's retro on the outside and was easy to see from the interstate! Inside it was contemporary but we couldn't check-in until 3pm, it was 1pm.When we did get our room, it was very clean, the remote was there and the bed was comfy. It was game night and there was a shuttle to Invesco, just not from it.The lounge staff was great and in the morning, the buffet was good. We'd stay here for another sports event.

I found this hotel to be a nice surprise. Close to downtown invesco and the pepsi center.

The hotel wasn't as "downtown" as I would have liked but the staff was great and the place was clean. I would stay again.

This hotel was ok. It was a really good location because it was close to downtown, but hte staff was very rude and there were parties in almost every room and people would call y room at all hoursof hte night. I didn't get any sleep and the staff won't do any thing about it.

Travelocity   by  anonymous  on  Jun 2, 2007

Service was mildly rude and unfriendly and rooms were not available at check-in and request for two rooms together was arranged and later unavailable. The coffee maker in the room was not working and my phone could not call out to second room. Manager at time of check-out was the only nice thing about my stay there. I would probably not stay there again.

This hotel has two buildings that are seperate from the main hotel with guest rooms. This would normally be okay, but on a very cold winter New Year's Eve night it was not acceptable. We had the heat turned up to 90 degrees and we still had a hard time keeping warm. The hotel had a New Year's party and peopel were running around outside, screaming and yelling until 3:00 a.m. The mattress were very hard, leaving me with a backache for the next week.

The air conditiong was broken when we got to the room. They fixed it quickly but it was loud. The room was very small and not at all like the picture on the internet. The carpet was so dirty that it turned my white socks black. The bathroom had a terrible order. We had only planned to stay 2 nights and that was the only reason we did not check out. The location is great but the pice of the hotel does not match the quality of the room.

This hotel is caught in a time warp as far as comfort and cleanliness is concerned. Staying in this room is a throw back to the sixties and not in a hip retro way. The furnishing is old and broken down. There were no light bulbs in two of the lamps and the alarm clock was broken. It is not a very nice place to stay and way over-priced, (after tax, 105 per night). The only plus for this hotel (motel is more like it), is its close proximity to downtown Denver, however, there are other hotels nearby that newer that would be a better value for your money. If your only desire is to have a room to fall asleep in after a game at the nearby athletic arenas then take a chance, but even at that I would shell out a few more bucks to stay in a cleaner and more updated room. Also, I reserved an upgraded room and told there were none available upon check-in. They assured me they would let the travel agency know of the change in price but I took that as a grain of salt. I truly do not believe they had any intention of doing so.

I SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS,THE RAMADA SITE SAID IT WAS NEWLY RENOVATED, MAYBE 10 YEARS AGO. THE FIRST NIGHT WE WERE THERE OUR BATHROOM CEILING LEAKED SO IF YOU WENT TO THE BATHROOM YOU GOT DRIPPED ON ,WE WERE ON THE TOP FLOOR, THEY FIXED IT THE NEXT DAY, TWO DAYS LATER IT STARTED AGAIN. I HAD NEW WHITE SOCKS ON ANDAFTER BEING THERE A HALF AN HOUR THE BOTTOM OF THEM WERE BLACK, THE FLOORS WERE FILTHYSO WE WORE FLIP FLOPS FROM THEN ON. THE BLANKETS ON THE BEDS HAD HOLES IN THEM. THE ADVERTISED GIFT SHOP DID NOT EXIST AND NEITHER DID THE FREE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST, YOU COULD EAT THE BREAKFAST FOR * DOLLARS. THE FREE DOWNTOWN SHUTTLE WILL DROP YOU OFF BUT, YOU HAVE TO GET A CAB TO GET BACK. DO NOT STAY HERE ITS A DUMP FOR A RAMADA.

The Ramada on Zuni street is a good location because it is right next to Elitch Gardens and close to the heart of Denver. The scenery is very pretty but the place is noisey. There was a large family staying in one small room above my family and i and the family allowed their children to throw rocks at vehicles. The hotel staff did nothing about this little problem. Also, Travel agent said that there would be a continental breakfast. Unfortunately this is not the case. Apparently although a continental breakfast is promised, it actually costs like 9 dollars per person to eat a few donuts and some coffee. This needs to be fixed! The place holds alot of meetings and the night that we stayed at the Ramada was a poor one because a big party was taking place. In the middle of the night drunk residents of the hotel stood in front of our room and were noisey. The rooms are also very small. We had a family of four and a baby. It was hardly enough room for all of us.

I felt like I was staying in a hundred dollar room. Dirty carpets. No remote for TV. The food was OK, but no plates and food kept running out. Service was slow at front desk and at breakfast.

Non-smoking room smelled like an ashtray. Toilet ran constantly. Carpet stained. Breakfast--no forks, no syrup, no milk, etc. But the worst--room had NO HEAT on a 30 degree night. We froze and no one cared to help. Terrible experience.

Room and site very dirty. There were burnt out lights in the room. Some rooms the furniture was outside and broken. Not worth the price I paid.
