I come at least 2-3 times a year to Pocomoke to visit family in the area and I will not stay at any other hotel. It does have several restaurants that you can go to in the immediate area and there is a Super Walmart right across the street. Anything that I have needed in past stays has been provided for by the staff at this hotel, if they could. THIS IS REALLY THE BEST PLACE IN THE AREA TO STAY AND THE PRICE IS REASONABLE. Breakfast is also good, but after a couple of days, it does get a litle boring. I have never seen them run out of anything and the food is always fresh. I realize that better hotels can be found, because I have stayed in them, but for the area, this hotel feels like the RITZ.I have stayed at almost all of the hotels( there are a total of 3) in Pocomoke CIty and the Holiday Inn is by far the best. The other hotels in this area are really run down and downright disgusting (moldy, smelly, reused dirty sheets with hairs), rude staff. One of the other hotels that we stayed in looked like they were renting their rooms as apartments, one family even set up their hibachi in the breezeway to cook their dinner (very tacky and a fire hazard).

The hotel was well placed for our visits to Assateague, Ocean City and Crisfield. Couldn't ask for nicer staff and better location.

We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Pocomoke. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable. Check-in and check-out was fast and easy. We especially enjoyed the free breakfast, which included hard-boiled eggs, pastries, cereal, and cinnamon rolls. This hotel is also conveniently located near several restaurants.

Reasonably clean and service was professional. This hotel is but nothing is special and extra. We stayed in this hotel to visit Chincoteague. We stayed with two teen age and spent extra money expecting children can enjoy swimming but swimming pool open short and check out time is too early. Any way they look unwelcoming and almost make me feel chilly. No Jacuzzi. Bath room was good size but room was not particularly big. Fridge and microwave in the room was very nice. I saw a review saying this hotel is new. I do not think this is new because paint and fixtures shows wear and tear. This is OK but considering price we paid, I was not happy. I will look for better deal next time. Both wired and wireless internet worked well.
