This motel is fairly new and clean. The room was very nice and spacious, almost like a suite. The motel management was very hospitable and helpful. Though off the beaten path a little, it is well worth the drive."
We booked two rooms. One room had fleas. We could not get the television to work in one room and asked for assistance. No one helped. The front desk was friendly both for check-in and check-out. I expected a cleaner facility since the motel is not that old. There was no elevator for my 79-year-old mother. The drive was too long from the motel to Springfield because of slow traffic.
This hotel is new and clean, and our room was large. However, we could not get wireless internet service in our room. There was no hairdryer in the room When I asked the desk for a hairdryer, they said they would send one, but it was at least 20-30 minutes before it came. Apparently, they only had one for the entire hotel. Our AC did not work, and we made multiple requests before it was taken care of. When we checked out, there was no one at the desk, but we noticed the desk clerk was sitting by the pool.
