We decided to spend our 40th anniversary in Las Vegas and chose New York New York for its location. It is located within walking distance of three other casinos that are all MGM Mirage properties and you can use your Players Club card in all of them. From check in to check out, the staff was very friendly and helpful including our host, Barbara D.Our room was on the 12th floor and was very comfortable, neat and clean. We had a problem with the hair dryer.I called housekeeping and within 10 minutes they were at our door and installed a new dryer. The construction was not a distraction as we ate breakfast across from the site. We had excellent dinners at Gallaghers and Nine Fine Irishmen and breakfast at IL Fornaio. The staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful with the menu selections. We would recommend New York New York for its location, staff and its value.

We had the best trip. The hotel is amazing. The best by far that we went into on the strip. We ended up spending a lot of time right in our hotel. There was so much to do and see right there. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I will recommend this hotel to anyone who will listen to me.

When I arrived around 10 a.m. on a Saturday morning, I fully expected to have to store my luggage, but my room was ready! What a pleasant surprise! From the description of the room I reserved (the lowest price), I was expecting something the size of a closet. It was about the size of your average chain motel, but much nicer! It was very clean (I even saw where they exchange the glasses in the room instead of cleaning them there), and decorated nicely. Like any casino hotel, the TV choices were limited. The service of the housekeeping staff was very efficient. A little boy was sick in the hallway, but they had someone there in two minutes after my call. The only negative was navigation.......the elevaators were hard to find, and it is a long walk to the monorail. And get to the pool early if you want a chair. Otherwise, an excellent value for the money!

This was the first trip for me as an adult, and the first time ever for my husband. We met my sister and her family there, they've been previously. We all seemed to enjoy it. I loved the room, it was very clean and had an awesome view. Pillows and bed were all excellent. The whole atmosphere of the casino was fabulous! The food of course was pricey, but they did have a variety of foods and prices. From 3 or 4 for a slice of NY style pizza all the way up to the 50 or 60 range for steaks at Gallaghers. Although we didn't really eat at Gallaghers, we would have liked to. Just not enough time due to all of the sight seeing that we did.The good thing about NYNY is the proximety to monorails. You could cross the street to the monorail at Excalibur and take it over to Madalay Bay and the Luxor. Or go through the MGM to take the monorail down the strip. No matter what you do you will walk until you drop!! So, bring your most comfortable shoes!! Overall I would recommend New York New York to others in the future! Great stay!
