Good Hotel. Stayed one night to leave on cruise next day. Good location. Blocks from many city sights. Across the street is a cute little park. If you are going on a cruise, the hotel is about 5 miles from pier 30 even closer to pier 66.

Staff was great w/directions and very friendly. 3 minute walk to Space Needle and Duck Tour and free city bus to Pike's Market. 10-15 minute walk to Pike's Market. Hotel clean and comfy beds. Breakfast at the restaurant was good and very reasonable for Seattle. Cab from airport was 33.00.

The best thing about this hotel has to be its location... you can walk to every tourist destination. The staff was very helpful in telling us about places to see and eat. They ensured a car was waiting for us when we were checking out. It was 4am so it made it very convienient.

Our stay here was great; the desk clerks were curtious; the room was clean and it was right next to a restaurant.

We stayed just one night before we went on a cruise. The hotel helped us arrainge transportation to the hotel and help with our bags (all 11 of them!) When we got to the hotel I had somehow written the wrong number of children (1 instead of 3) and when we go there our room didn't have enough beds. The staff was so nice to change the room out - without charge. Also, the restaurant was "kids eat free" and included all three children - a huge benefit for a big family! Finally, the airlines had lost one of our bags and the staff was very helpful in trying to get the bag to us before we left on a cruise. We were very pleased with the friendliness!

Hotel was very good overall. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Location was pretty good - an easy walk to the Space Needle and other downtown sites were walkable too, although a little bit of a hike. We were able to park right on the street in front of the hotel everyday and saved some money that way instead of paying the hotel daily parking fees. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel, Friendly! Heads up though!

First off, this hotel is great, there are a couple of problems we had. The first is the parking garage, it does cost ten dollars a night, and ...

We were very happy with the hotel. The staff was always friendly, and helped us find restaurants and activities whenever we asked. The only thing I can criticize is the free continental breakfast that comes with the executive level rooms. Danish and mini muffins, raisin bran and cheerios - always the exact same every day. We thought we'd save some money by getting free breakfast every day, but ended up going out to breakfast each day instead. Besides that, it was a great stay.

Seattle is a pedestrian-friendly city and this hotel is about 5 blocks from the Space Needle and 3 blocks from the free downtown bus service. Try the gumbo at the Emerald Grill (which provides room service menu) - not bad for the NW.

Great value. Staff is helpful and receptive. Very clean & modern rooms. Pillows could be better. Self-parking @ only 4.50 (compare to 20 at other nearby hotels). Free high-speed internet.

I work in the hotel industry, so I have learned not to expect much when I book a room based on location. I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The room was clean, the staff was helpful and pleasant, and the business center was well equipt and very handy. The room service hours are limited (as is the restaurant) but the staff is very helpful in advice to fit a crazy business schedule. A car service is also available at a flat rate. I would definitely stay in this hotel again. Holiday Inn has impressed me on this round. I believe I will have to take another look at them!

The meeting room was cold, overlarge for our 40+ attendees. The restaurant at the hotel is smallish and its the only one within walking distance at lunchtime, so many drove elsewhere to eat. Parking is 10 bucks a night. Its an older building and the area is light industrial, so not an eye pleaser though the lobby and business/computer room is nicely done with mutiple computers/printers for guest use. The room phones require a look at the instructions in the room services handbook to figure out how to pick up VM messages and the phone wakeup call didnt work. Alternatively their system provides direct-to-room phone numbers for free. Bed was very comfy and the area was quiet so got a good nights sleep. Heater thermostat worked but with the fan was on all the time. Overall OK - nothing to bring me back, or keep me away. The clock radio was cheap but functionally acceptable. It seems like it could have been a nicer experience without much effort by the hotel. The Seattle Center is nearby yet far away; its on the other side of Aurora (a very busy highway - do not walk across) requiring either a car or a long walk.

Well, when we checked in they didn't gie us the type of room requested. They also weren't happy to make it right and on top of that they didn't find or bother to return a phone charger we left in the room. P.S. When we called about the charger, they were'nt nice about that either. I do have to say the only friendly service we got was by the front desk when we checked out. That's why I gave them a 2 instead of a 1. You also have to pay for their parking.
