I stayed in a King Suite with my husband and son. Sub shops and a grocery store are within walking distance which was very convenient. It is a mile west of downtown. The room was spotless and service was great. The front desk was helpful. The king suites are big, with a roll out couch. It is quiet and new and clean. The room coffee is strong and fantastic. They have a continental breakfast but I didn't try it. My family enjoyed the pool. It is a good place for business and a woman alone too. If you like history check out the Iron Horse State Park nearby. Go to the terrific Rose Cottage for a big breakfast or a hearty lunch. This is a small and friendly town. Enjoy!

We stopped here after our orignal hotel in another city fell through, and it was very late. The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. We were thrilled that the room was so spacious and clean. We had a room with a king bed and a sleeper sofa that were both very comfortable. The continental breakfast in the morning was nice too--fresh fruit cut up, biscuits & gravy, yogurts, cereals, pastries, etc. We wish we had more time to spend here, but we were on our way to another destination. We passed a lot of cute places in town that we'd like to go back and explore, and we'll definitely stay at the Snowcap Lodge! It's close to the freeway, has restaurants and gas and stores around it, and is very clean.

Service was good, looks very new, modern, sleek furnishings. Staff friendly. Breakfast ok, nothing special. No views, unfortunately in such beautiful country. Take Exit 84 and turn left at the main street. Need to drive till you see Safeway sign. It's there. Gets booked because it's just before the pass. Call ahead!!!!
