Beijing Sightseeing

For over 800 years from the Yuan Dynasty, Beijing has been the political, economic and cultural center of China. It is a fascinating city with so much to see that it seems impossible to experience all Beijing has to offer. The Forbidden City was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It’s the world’s largest palace complex and one of the top attractions in Beijing. Tiananmen Square is one the most visited locations in Beijing—thousands flock to it daily. The plaza has been the sight of numerous significant events in Chinese history, including the Tiananmen Square protests of 1989. And certainly no trip to China would be complete without a visit to the Great Wall of China. There are many interesting sections of the wall that can be explored in Beijing.
