San Francisco Shopping Vacation

If you’re heading to San Francisco, consider bringing an extra suitcase to lug back all the goodies that you’ll find there. Find great vintage clothes at shops along Haight Street or in the Fillmore neighborhood. Buy souvenirs for all your friends back home in Fisherman’s Wharf or in the many shops on Pier 39. For high-end, chic boutiques, explore the Hayes Valley, an up-and-coming neighborhood with some of the best shops in the city. Visiting foodies would be remiss to not stop by the Ferry Building on the Embarcadero, where you can find artisan cheese shops, local meat and seafood companies and the ever-popular Farmer’s Market, open on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
