Chicago Sightseeing

The sights are plentiful throughout Chicago. A good starting point is Cloud Gate (aka “The Bean”) in Millennium Park, 110 tons of polished stainless steel reflecting the city’s skyline and the clouds above. A little to the south, Grant Park and its centerpiece, the iconic Buckingham Fountain, offer ample photo opportunities. The Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower) Skydeck gives you a city-wide view from 103 stories up and a glass-bottom ledge lets you see straight down 1,353 feet.

For sightseeing closer to the ground, the Chicago Architecture Foundation offers walking and boat tours of downtown landmarks. Further north, you can meander through Lincoln Park Zoo or snap a photo of the home of the Cubs, Wrigley Field, the oldest ballpark in the National League.
