You can meet Mickey Mouse, get attacked by Jaws or ride one of the tallest roller coasters in the world at Los Angeles amusement parks. Disneyland, the original theme park and still the happiest place on earth, necessitates a visit from all those who want to “leave today and enter world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy." It’s not the only choice, though; Universal Studios Hollywood has rides, shows and tours that take you into the fantasy of movies. Six Flags Magic Mountain has a number of roller coasters and other rides, Knott’s Berry Farm has a few more and Camp Snoopy for smaller children and Pacific Park, the amusement park on Santa Monica Pier, has rides and games right on the coast.
