Explore Golf in Orlando
Orlando is mainly known for its amusement parks and its citrus fruit, however, the city certainly has made a name for itself in the golf community. With more than 125 golf courses within 45 miles of downtown, Orlando is home to some of the most well-known golfers. Hit the links at Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club and Lodge, home to the PGA Tour’s Arnold Palmer Invitational. The Grand Cypress Resort was designed by course architect Jack Nicklaus and features a layout inspired by the Old Course at St. Andrews in Scotland. For the novice golfer, an excursion to Winter Pines Golf Club’s 18-hole course is the perfect way to work on your swing—it is also one of the only courses in the area that allows walking.
