Explore Parks and Playgrounds in New York City
As far as parks go in New York City, there is the obvious king: Central Park. From Central Park Zoo to Bethesda Fountain to Belvedere Castle, from concerts to theater to educational programs, from tennis to baseball to basketball, it’s all there. If you just want to saunter through the sumptuous greenery or work up a sweat, you’ll find just want you want. Not to be neglected, though, are other parks throughout the city, like Idlewild Park in Queens, Battery Park at the southern tip of Manhattan and Randall’s Island.
